Azure-first cloud for Factory platforms and client landing zones

Official documentation (opens in a new tab)

Overview

Microsoft Azure is ConnectSoft primary cloud. Factory and platform templates deploy to App Service, AKS, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Application Insights—with Bicep or Pulumi defining environments and Azure DevOps driving repeatable releases.

Azure-native identity, networking, and compliance features map directly to enterprise buyer requirements: private endpoints, managed identities, regional pairs, and policy-as-code guardrails. Observability flows into Application Insights and Log Analytics without bespoke agent sprawl across services.

When client or integration mandates require AWS, GCP, or on-premises components, we treat them as bounded contexts—while keeping Azure the anchor for ConnectSoft-generated platforms and operational runbooks your team can own long term.

Planning a platform landing zone on Azure? Our templates, pipelines, and monitoring baselines shorten time-to-production while leaving room for your domain-specific scale and governance rules.

Why we use it:

  • Primary hosting target for Factory templates and SaaS programs
  • IaC with Bicep/Pulumi and environment-specific parameter sets
  • Integrated observability via Application Insights and Azure Monitor
  • Managed identities and Key Vault for secrets in production paths
  • Azure DevOps pipelines for build, test, and deploy automation
  • Hybrid and multi-cloud supported at integration boundaries when required
