Conversational bots and channels on Azure

Official documentation (opens in a new tab)

Overview

Microsoft Bot Framework and Azure Bot Service provide the SDK, channels, and hosting to build enterprise bots that reach Teams, web chat, and other surfaces—with .NET 10 backends and Microsoft.Extensions.AI for language features.

ConnectSoft uses Bot Framework in client and platform programs where conversational UX complements ASP.NET Core APIs: secure token flows, dialog telemetry in Application Insights, and handoff to human agents when automation ends. Factory templates favor API-first services; bots are added deliberately when the product needs a natural-language front door.

We integrate bots with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AI endpoints, and existing CRM or ticketing systems—avoiding duplicate identity stores and keeping observability on the same OpenTelemetry path as your microservices.

If Teams or customer-facing chat is on your roadmap, we deliver bots that respect Azure security baselines and plug into the same .NET platform you operate every day.

Why we use it:

  • Azure Bot Service hosting
  • Secure token handling
  • Telemetry on dialogs
  • Human handoff patterns
  • Aligns with ASP.NET Core hosting and OpenAPI contracts in our templates
  • Observability hooks for Application Insights and OpenTelemetry
  • Clear Factory default versus client-specific adoption boundaries
