C#

Type-safe language for enterprise platforms on .NET 10

Official documentation (opens in a new tab)

Overview

C# is the primary language across ConnectSoft Factory templates, generated SaaS solutions, Blazor frontends, and Azure automation adjacent to our .NET 10 service cores. Modern language features—records, pattern matching, nullable reference types—keep domain models expressive and defects visible at compile time.

We enforce consistent analyzers, EditorConfig, and package centralization so C# codebases across programs feel familiar. Platform libraries for messaging, persistence, feature flags, and AI abstractions are consumed the same way whether you extend a Factory template or a client-specific service.

When engagements include polyglot boundaries, C# remains the integration anchor: ASP.NET Core hosts, MassTransit consumers, and Azure Functions workers share types and tests with the rest of the platform. That reduces translation bugs between languages and keeps observability uniform.

Building on Azure with a language your team can hire for and maintain? C# on .NET 10 is our default for good reason—predictable, fast, and template-backed from day one.

Why we use it:

  • Primary language for backends, Blazor UI, and platform tooling
  • Nullable reference types and analyzers catch defects before CI
  • Shared libraries for messaging, persistence, and AI abstractions
  • Consistent coding standards across Factory and client repositories
  • Excellent tooling in Visual Studio and VS Code for .NET 10
  • Smooth interop with SQL Server, Azure SDKs, and OpenTelemetry
