UI components and patterns on Tailwind CSS

Official documentation (opens in a new tab)

Overview

Flowbite is an open-source UI library built on Tailwind CSS—buttons, modals, navbars, forms, and marketing blocks that speed up accessible frontends without a proprietary design system lock-in.

ConnectSoft uses Flowbite on the Marketing Site (CDN CSS/JS alongside Tailwind) and through ConnectSoft Blazor UIKit Flowbite adapters for component parity in Blazor apps. Factory greenfield product UIs still standardize on ConnectSoft Blazor UIKit and ASP.NET Core APIs on Microsoft Azure; Flowbite is the pragmatic layer for rapid marketing pages, prototypes, and teams already invested in Tailwind utilities.

For client engagements we align Flowbite tokens with Figma specs, RTL requirements, and dark-mode behavior—keeping contrast and keyboard navigation testable in CI alongside Playwright or Reqnroll scenarios.

If you want Tailwind-speed delivery with pre-built accessible patterns, Flowbite is a proven choice—we already run it in production on our own properties.

Why we use it:

  • Open-source components on Tailwind CSS—no separate runtime lock-in
  • Used on ConnectSoft Marketing Site and Blazor UIKit adapters
  • RTL and dark-mode patterns documented in Flowbite docs
  • Pairs with Tailwind, not a replacement for Factory Blazor UIKit in core products
  • Accessible components when configured with correct ARIA usage
  • CDN or npm integration fits Azure Static Web Apps and SPAs
  • Design review before copying marketing blocks into regulated products
